How can I watch good quality NFL games w/o cable tv?
I just ditched AT&T for trying to charge me $90 a month for tv (kept the internet) but football season is coming. So I was wondering if anyone knew a good way to watch the games in HD (if possible) streaming live w/o having a cable tv provider?
Also side note if anyone also knows how I can watch the thursday night games that the nfl network stole or the monday night games on espn via the internet that would be awesome to know too

It's possible but if you consider it to be legal is a different thing.

I don't have a computer so I don't know about peer to peer file sharing - however the live sports streams that I've found with my Revue are no where near HD quality (except for the MLB.tv which is very good paid service for baseball). The NFL Sunday Ticket doesn't have an internet only plan. The pirated free streams are pretty low quality.
I would suggest that if you want good HD quality NFL games you could go to a sports bar to watch the game. Most of the sports bars subscribe to the NFL Sunday Ticket and they have all the NFL games.

Football games are on tv over the air during football season - all you need is a good antenna and a good tv to watch them. And at the moment over the air signals are free if you can get them. No need for cable if you can get them over the air. Same goes for news, baseball and all the other stuff people complain about missing when they cut the cord.

Using PlayOn to stream my media
WDTV Live Plus via HDMI1
Dish DUODVR 625 via Component
Over The Air Antenna via the Cable In
Connected via ethernet to Netgear WNR3500L
We will see how long that will last... The Gov. of the F.C.C. wants to stop free over the air tv in the not so distant future..

I mentioned Sports Bars because if you want specific out-of-market games you will only find all of those on the NFL Sunday Ticket (with Direct TV) -it's available at the Sports Bars (or from anyone with Direct TV & a NFL Sunday Ticket subscription).

I came across this information of offerings from NFL.com. They have a package for live preseason games, live radio broadcasts from regular season, or "gamerewind" (all the regular season games available in HD as video on demand for $39.95). The VOD isn't live like NFL Sunday ticket - but it's a lot less expensive and can be ordered as an internet only subscription. https://gamerewind.nfl.com/nflgr/secure/packages
