I had a test profile something like yours several pages back, but it was giving me a lot of errors via my XML editor, some commands will not work with the Vizio Co-Star ... My AC3 command works very well, it's just that some movies will not cooperate ...(lol)

Yes, your new Profile works very well, awesome ....! In the above photo, I named your Profile the "Vizio CostarCodecpak" .... I did my AC3 profile a little different from yours, but the way you did yours, I believe you should now be able to get some AC3 sound, maybe not with all AC3 movies ...

I will keep working on the AC3 Vizio Co-Star audio issue, still it's not a deal breaker for me ....!

I am not yet a Vizio Co-Star owner, I will have to wait until next tax return before I can order one, nor do I have any other types of smart devices to test with. I remember earlier in the thread that there was no success with getting either Hulu or Hulu Plus to work. Has anyone yet tried the modded Hulu apk or willing to give it a try?
Hulu Apk Modified to Work on All Android Devices – xda-developers
If so then:
1. Did it install?
2. Did it launch?
3. Were you able to playback video from original Hulu or Hulu Plus?
4. If it did play video were there any problems or issues? *Note there is a known issue with search not working?
Thanks in advanced.
Mine shutdown again, went to a total black screen after we exited Netflix to go to Live TV. This is the 3rd or 4th time since we got it on Saturday. I also noticed it gets very hot, and warm very fast. I contacted support and they said it is normal to get very warm since there is no fan.
They told me maybe we are not closing our applications, and have too many to open. He showed me if you hold down the V button for 3 seconds brings up a menu and can close apps which I never knew.
I will try this and see if it fixes it, if it keeps happening I think I will just end up returning unfortunately.
According to this thread it doesn't work with first generation GTV products:
"Breaking News" HuluPlus.apk Has Been Successfully Modded By Vgeezy - xda-developers
I found post #23 (from the above thread interesting):
"The reason that it doesn't work with the GoogleTV is that it needs to have a statically linked flash library for x86 android. GTVHacker has put together a way to make a GoogleTV NDK for the revue. Not sure if that will help it on the Sony GTVs."
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Hmm sounds like that is inferring that the app is based on NDK - if so it won't work with the second generation GTV devices either. That is unless Google surprises us and releases NDK support for Google TV.

My web-mix (bookmarks) for GTV content. (In order to view all available content set GTV user agent to "generic"):

I tried the modded Hulu from that link awhile ago. It allowed me to get Hulu on my Android phone, and I was able to install it on the co-star, but it closes right away. Not a force close either, I think it did a check for the flash version installed and closed when it saw it wasn't the right one.
