    Hello Everyone.

I wanted to know a couple of things here.

    1) Is Google TV's available on Computer as an application (Hack or not)
    2) Is Google TV can run on a computer as an OS? (HTPC like XBMC)
    3) Is there any plan to make it work on a PC?
    4) What do you think of having Google TV on a Cutom PC for HTPC?

Google TV is not available but on the Sony and Logitech products already released. While I am sure more products are coming I do not think it is in Googles immediate plans to allow this software to be used directly on PCs. Used in concert with PCs sure, but not running on PCs in the near future.

I have an HTPC too and run Vista's Media Center. An HTPC can already do everything Google TV does, plus a heck of a lot more. Google TV just makes things more organized. I would love to be able to install Google TV on my HTPC too. And I just can't find any reason why Google hasn't released a software only version yet.

Maybe Google is afraid people will use it on their desktops/notebooks while Google is trying to push towards bringing the Internet together with your TV set? Who knows...

But I'm sure someday in the future it will be do-able.
