    Hi.
Just plugged in my sony bluray w/ goog tv box today. Have a comcase cable box.

Everything else seems fine, but the screen while watching tv isn't fullscreen (even w/ HD channels that were fullscreen prior to installing the GTV box).

I set up the screen area (the one where we mark all 4 borders till we can't see the blue screen anymore) and the resolution in settings is set to Auto. Aspect ratio is set to original too.

So what am i missing here?

    Please help !!

you have to play around the wide mode settings. its either deep down in the TV settings menu or in advanced options in the channel menu(press the key opposite to the home key in the remote)>advanced options>wide mode.
    hope this helps.

I have similar problems with the att uverse STB. When I changed the screen size to "wide" on the STB, the aspect ration seems to be off and the channel programming menu is not completely visible on the screen. Please help!!!

Wide mode will not work with youtube videos. If you want full screen while watching youtube videos then use the youtube app to watch videos with and it should be full screen.
